Doug Matthys

Doug brings 25 years of strategic development and operations leadership experience to his new role as Segment President of Consulting & Engineering, which includes the Advisory & Speciality and the Environmental Consulting & Engineering divisions. His initial priorities will include the acquisition pipeline, assessing key client accounts, and addressing federal program needs.

Additionally, Doug will focus on aligning the legacy subsidiaries under one vision and strategy by identifying, prioritizing, and capturing market opportunities. To maintain the company’s competitive advantage, Doug will spearhead initiatives to attract, retain, and develop talent, as well as facilitate cross-selling across the MEG portfolio and enhance overall operations.

Prior to joining Montrose, Doug served as President and CEO of RPS North America and Global CEO of RPS Energy, managing consulting organizations with over 800 employees. He holds a B.S. in Political and Environmental Science from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. Doug currently lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife and three sons.
