Montrose awarded $4M Environmental Contract by US Army Corps of Engineers
Montrose Environmental was recently awarded a $4M Environmental Contract by the US Army Corps of Engineers.
In December 2021, the USACE Philadelphia District awarded VERINA-PARS, JV (an SBA-approved Mentor-Protégé Joint Venture between VERINA Consulting and Montrose Environmental), a Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) valued at $4M. The contract to provide Environmental Remediation Services under NAICS code 562910 will primarily support ongoing environmental services at the former Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, as well as other civil and defense projects for the Philadelphia District. The scope of services to be performed by the team includes operation and maintenance of air sparge/soil vapor extraction (AS/SVE) remediation systems, monitoring and extraction well assessments, capacity testing, Biological Activity Reaction Testing (BART), implementation of corrective actions and repairs, and management and disposal of investigational derived waste byproducts. Additional services that may be provided by the team include regulatory support for Clean Water Act, Resources Conservation and Recovery Act, Comprehensive Environmental Restoration Compensation and Liability Act, Clean Air Act, National Environmental Policy Act, Oil Pollution Act, and other federal, state, and local environmental programs.
