Kirk Kessler
VP, Soil and Groundwater Remediation
Kirk Kessler brings over 34 years of industry experience to the Montrose team where he currently leads as not only a Subject Matter Expert, but also as Vice President of Soil and Groundwater Remediation. Prior to joining Montrose, Kirk worked in various roles as Principal Hydrogeologist as well as CEO for companies such as Law Environmental, GeoSyntec Consultants, MWH Americas, and Environmental Planning Specialists. Kirk is a licensed Professional Geologist in the states of GA, LA, KY, TN, PA, VA, and SC and is member of the National Ground Water Association. Throughout his career, Kirk has been honored on multiple occasions for awards such as Honorarium: PFAS Peer Review Panel from USEPA, Technical Advisor to British Columbia Ministry of Environment, and the AlliedSignal Six-Sigma Award of Excellence. He has also authored a recent case study featured in the Journal of Ecological Engineering. Kirk holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology from Miami University and a Master’s Degree in Hydrogeology from University of Toledo.
