MONTROSE ENVIRONMENTAL GROUP RECEIVES THE NATIONAL SAFETY COUNCIL AWARD
Montrose Environmental Group, Inc (“Montrose”) has received the National Safety Council’s prestigious Occupational Excellence Achievement Award for its continued dedication to safety in the workplace and community. This award recognizes Montrose’s safety performance, leadership, and ongoing efforts of individuals throughout the organization to raise awareness of safety practices and prevent injuries.
Montrose professionals have focused on improving the company’s safety performance through audits, training, equipment, and practices such as stop-work authority for all associates. This effort led to a reduction of the company’s injury rates by 74%, and no lost-time injury in more than 3 million hours.

The National Safety Council’s Occupational Excellence Achievement Award recognizes companies, units, and/or facilities that have reported injuries and illnesses that involve days away from work equal to or less than 50% of the BLS rating for their 6-digit NAICS code. It also requires the company to have no fatalities during the calendar year for which the award is given.
