MONTROSE ENVIRONMENTAL GROUP PARTNERS WITH OPGAL’S EYECGAS® OGI TECHNOLOGY TO ENHANCE LDAR COMPLIANCE SERVICES

Group Named OPGAL Distributor For US & Canada

IRVINE, Cali. (August 31, 2020) – Montrose Environmental Group, Inc. (“Montrose”) (NYSE: MEG) is pleased to announce their technical/commercial partnership and distributor agreement with Opgal Optronic Industries, manufacturer of EyeCGas® solutions and the EyeCGas 2.0 OGI VOC detection camera supporting refinery operators, petrochemical manufacturers, oil and natural gas producers, and service providers working within the oil and gas industry.

EyeCGas is a full range of OGI solutions ensuring quick detection and quantification of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), methane, carbon monoxide (CO), and carbon dioxide (CO2) leaks. Solutions include handheld and fixed 24/7 monitoring. EyeCGas 2.0 is one of the world’s most technologically advanced gas imaging cameras, meeting ATEX (ATEX II 3G Ex nL IIC T6) and UL (Class 1 Div2) requirements for use in hazardous locations; it is also fully compliant with the US EPA’s NSPS – Controlling Air Pollution from the Oil and Natural Gas Industry (OOOOa).

“Opgal’s EyeCGas VOC detection platform strengthens Montrose’s technology-driven and client-focused approach to deliver safe, comprehensive, and fiscally responsible compliance solutions for customers in the US and Canada,” said David Spath, Vice President of Sales, LDAR Compliance for Montrose. “Our distributor partnership allows Montrose to leverage our established experience supporting refinery clients as they integrate OGI surveys and data management as critical parts of their environmental compliance program.”

By using ultra-sensitive infrared imaging technology to visualize CO, CO2, and VOC leaks with pinpoint accuracy, EyeCGas is an ideal tool for operators to reduce safety risk, manage product movement, and support LDAR compliance solutions. The technology also enables quantification based on image processing using dedicated software accessible from a desktop or field-worthy device.

“We are driving our personnel and partners to develop innovative technologies, strategies, and solutions for our clients to increase safety and reduce emissions,” said Tanya Jackson, Vice President, U.S. LDAR Division for Montrose. “We are excited to partner with Opgal and provide more ways to support our clients and ensure compliance.”

Opgal EyeCGas is a powerful tool available to customers from Montrose. Clients can purchase cameras, receive operator certification training, or work with Montrose to develop and implement all aspects of their LDAR compliance monitoring and reporting program.
