Sean Rome

SVP, Environmental Consulting and Engineering

Sean brings over 23 years of engineering and environmental consulting experience to his new role as SVP of Engineering and Consulting Services. Over the past two decades, Sean has managed large portfolio engineering and construction projects for commercial, utility and government clients. His environmental areas of expertise include Groundwater Geochemistry, Energy Waste Management, Construction & Plant Retirement and Material Management & Beneficial Reuse.

In his prior roles at Montrose, Sean served as Principal Geoscientist and Senior Principal, overseeing operational and technical support for Montrose’s Engineering and Environmental Consulting Business Sector. Before joining Montrose, Sean was Vice President of the Energy Waste Program at Tetra Tech, resolving complex waste stream issues at steam electric power plants, and Director of the Environmental Remediation and CCR Business Units at Remedial Construction Services (RECON). Sean holds his bachelor’s degree in Geology and Chemistry from Florida State University.
